The Garden of Remembrance
On Sunday June 26th we were delighted to have the Most Revd Dr Michael Jackson, Archbishop of Dublin, dedicate our new Memorial Garden.
There are 80 ground-based plots for interment of ashes, each of which will hold 2-3 urns. In addition there will be 2 Columbarium walls (one of which is already in place) that can hold a minimum of 80 additional urns.
Within the Garden there will be areas for reflection, to include seating, and a meeting point under a feature tree. A wall in the meeting area will display an appropriate reflection piece designed specifically for the Garden. The works have also included the addition of a paved area leading into the Garden from the entrance to the Church grounds and this continues up to the Church door where a slope has been provided for easy access for those using mobility aids.
For any queries, please contact the parish office (firstname.lastname@example.org) to enquire about availability.
